Running…..out of time

Things have been very hectic – The ball is less than TWO weeks away – and I have TWO runs this month. Where does time go, last time I looked it was April and I had plenty of time but I reckon the older you are the quicker it goes!

I have started running every day with the boys – Milo and Casey – it gets me into a routine of fighting with my sports bra everyday and getting out there even if its not far – bear in mind the babies only have little legs and Milo is stubborn – when he doesn’t want to run (like this morning) then he won’t!

Yesterday I did a virtual race (paid with medal but run on my own) in aid of Children with Cancer – Run for Lucy – a wonderful little girl who has had so many challenges in her short life but has always a smile on her face. It was my first proper run since York 10 mile and even though I did it on the treadmill I really enjoyed it – running longer than I have ever had.

So all thoughts now are focused on the ball – final numbers are 51 and these wonderful people are going to have a blast, had our last meeting with Herriots last Monday and got to meet the DJ Paul www.hi-tekentertainment.co.uk/ and was given the details of the singer. Balloons have come from the charity and helium has been provided by Herriots – so we won’t be puffed on the night!
