You always know it’s Xmas when you see the cocoa-cola ad.
Its already December, I can’t believe where the time has gone, training has gone a bit pear shaped – I am still going out with Skye 3 times a week but we have had to drop down from running to walking. A quick trip to the docs means I have to go to the hospital for some tests but with any luck I should be back by January.
In the meantime I have had loads to do –
Today was the first of the fundraisers, a works Christmas Fayre selling all things crafty and Christmassy of course. Some brilliant friends made me things to sell – much more talented than me and we made a grand total of £189.60
Saturday I was supposed to be running the CHEEKY SANTA DASH 2017 in Preston – this is a special race set up by Ben Ashworth in aid of Beating Bowel Cancer. This year it will be a memorial race for Ben who died earlier this year. Louise his wife has picked up his mantel continuing both the fundraising and awareness. I will be giving my assistance in some way – if only vocal! Ben will be there in the hearts of all those taking part.
Sunday my partner in crime Liesl will be freezing our toes off in Clitheroe at the Car boot (thanks for all the donations) making some more pennies and after that its roll on the ball.
